We decided to celebrate our marriage in a place that holds a very special meaning in our hearts: Sicily, Italy .

In 2018, we took an unforgettable trip with our two families (Laura and Higor's parents), a road trip filled with laughter, breathtaking landscapes, and moments that will forever be in our memories. It was the last trip we shared with all our parents together, before Dirce and Luiz passed away.
Sicily became much more than a destination: it became a memory filled with love, connection, and happiness. That's why we decided to return to this meaningful place to unite our lives, knowing that in spirit they will also be with us, celebrating and smiling from heaven.
With all our love, we hope you too will join in this celebration in a place so full of history, beauty... and memory.
About Sicily
Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea and is located in southern Italy, right at the “toe of the boot” on the Italian map.

Surrounded by turquoise waters and bathed in sunshine almost year-round, it's a place where natural beauty blends with thousands of years of history and culture.

For centuries, Sicily has been a meeting point for different civilizations: Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Normans, and Spanish all passed through, leaving their mark on its architecture, food, language, and people. Walking through its streets is like traveling back in time, among ancient temples, medieval villages, vibrant markets, and volcanic landscapes like the majestic Mount Etna.
This island is also a place of profound emotions, where life is celebrated with intensity. The warmth of its people, the authentic flavors of its cuisine (such as pasta alla norma, cannoli, and arancini), and the charm of its small coastal towns make you feel at home, even if you're thousands of miles away.
For us, Sicily represents that: a blend of history, beauty, joy, and memory. That's why we chose it not only for what it offers, but for what it made us feel the first time we were here, together, as a family.
